Re: Getting a metal lens board rebored - any suggestions?

Know anyone with a metal lathe with a faceplate? Attach lensboard to a piece of thin MDF with strong double sided tape and attach the board to the faceplate in the same way. Use a short (i.e. not tall) hss toolbit ground with a narrow cutting edge and with plenty of side relief (taper, narrow at bot...

Re: Canoscan 9000F film scanner

I use an Epson 1200photo, and it (as well as my Nikon 8000 ED) are supported under Windows 7 64bit using Hamick's. VueScan.

Hope this helps.

Re: Svalbald

Hi Steve, I just re-read your last post and realised I owed you a reply! Just got back from Svalbard and we had a fantastic time, but more of that when I've sorted out the 3500 images. I did not LF it (obviously as I'm still solvent) but went Pentxx dxgxxxl as (a) my luggage allowance would n...

Re: My photographic days are over!

Dave,

Shame - I'm sure that this was not an easy decision. Funny thing is I'm seeing quite a few photographers loosing the will to shoot at the moment. A virus perhaps?

I might be interested in the Elinchrom kit - what have you got?

Re: Svalbald

Thanks Steve, I doubt I'll be taking LF this time; I was aware of the issues with the cold (we went to the antarctic in 2007).
