The Shen Hao HZX4x5-IIA is tremendous value for money - still less than $650 at Badger Graphics . Even with shipping and import charges it should come in well under £500. OK it isn't an Ebony, but it's still very nicely made and has a full range of movements. The only add-on I might suggest is a set...

Another filter question... for the Lee holder, would I need to get a wide angle ring for use with a 90mm lens (on 4x5)? Is there any risk of cut-off using a standard ring? Thanks. B

Another option to work out the exposure increase is the formula Image, where S= the scale. So if you have a magnification of, say, 0.5 then that would work out as Image = 2.25x

But I love the QuickDisk - such a simple idea!

Cokin ND grads?

Hi folks. I'm just thinking about buying a set of graduated neutral density filters - looking at the Lee system, and also the Cokin Z-Pro set. The Cokins are a bit cheaper, so I wondered what the quality was like. Is anyone using them?

Thanks

Another Hello!

Hi folks - just a quick note to say hello. I'm in Sheffield and getting back into large format after a 20 year interval. Trying to remember Scheimpflug! Can I ask a favour? I don't suppose anyone has an empty 4x5 film box I could scrounge, so I can send my E6s off for processing? I'll reimburse p&p ...
