I've just stated that this wonderful meter is my favourite photographic accessory in a feature being published in April edition of Advanced Photographer mag.

Re: c41 processing marks
I too initially thought it might be the paddles Tristan. Are you putting the stabiliser in the Jobo tank? I read somewhere that this was a no-no and so I always did the stabiliser bath in a Combi-plan tank after I had removed the sheets from the reel. Thus if it is a stabiliser driven issue, it is m...

FS Arca Swiss P1 Fliplock ballhead with pano
The Arca Swiss ballheads rightly have a great reputation for build quality and reliability. The P1 series are really sturdy and the fliplock head accommodates both the standard Arca footplates and the smaller slidefix plates. The P series heads are so easy to use with the silver knurled aluminium ri...

Re: Velvia discontinuation
I have a small freezer which I bought for the previous time Velvia was being discontinued. It's sitting idle in the garage. Free to anyone who wants to come to Lymington and collect it.
Sorry to hear that Fuji have made this decision and I too have signed the petition.

Re: Lee 100mm System & Schneider IIIb Center Filter
Martin - there is a different donut which you need. Then the set-up you have works absolutely fine. I recall only having 2 slots on my push-on filter holder (advised by Robert White staff) when I had this set-up. I used it mostly with the 80mm lens, but also the 58mm and same centre filter with no p...

Re: WTS Schneider Super-Symmar 110mm XL
Thanks Steve and Charlie, much appreciated. I'm not surprised that you use this most Steve, I did too. Then again switching to the Cooke opens up a whole host of creative possibilities. It took me a while to move to a 110, 80, 58mm XL lens set up at wider end from my original 120, 90 and 75mm (latte...

Re: Tetenal E6 Kit
Hi Sean I used the 3 bath Tetanol E6 before I found a supplier of the Fuji Hunt chemicals. It works exactly the same, pay attention to the pH in the same way and colours will be fine. E6 is a standardised process as far as I can recall, so trust the manufacturer to get it right with their R&D. Havin...

WTS Aspheric Loupes - Rodenstock 4x and Schneider 10x
These have been waiting for me to decide whether or not I am going to revert to a view camera and are now seeking work with a new employer! The 4x was used most often, but the 10x was very useful for critical focus checking when using more complex camera movements. Both are in excellent condition. T...

WTS Schneider Super-Symmar 110mm XL
This lens is in fantastic condition and comes with a Linhof/Ebony board as well as caps and the box. This became my favourite lens with my Ebony 45SU and rightly has established itself a huge fanbase on account of resultant picture quality and the massive image circle. Because I rate this lens so hi...

Re: Metering, what's gone wrong?
You might just need to calibrate your lightmeter and give it some compensation using ISO. When I bought a Pentax digital spotmeter I found that it gave 2/3 stop more light to the scene than my Sekonic 508. This accounted for why I'd been having most of my Sekonic metered E6 pushed about 2/3 stop. Al...
