Is there a Glasgow lab that still develops 4x5 film?

Does anyone know of a lab that still develops 4x5 film (C41, E6 and/or B&W) in or near Glasgow?

I am aware of Trumps in Edinburgh, but I am looking for somewhere within a reasonable distance to avoid having to revert to mail-order.

Cheers,

Marc.

Re: WTB: 4x5 film holders with double groove

Very informative Ian. It could well be that the Graflex marked holder is modified to fit. However, the grooves are 'perfect' and the holder is 13mm think, not the 11.9mm you infer. The wooden holders are only 1mm thicker at 14mm.

The wooden holder is marked, not the dark slide itself. Below some images showing the markings as well as the detail of the metal clamp on the back of the camera. http://www.circleinlight.co.uk/share/slides-marking-1.jpg http://www.circleinlight.co.uk/share/slides-marking-2.jpg http://www.circleinli...

Re: WTB: 4x5 film holders with double groove

I currently have three holders. The two completely wooden slides are unmarked but not usable, but the one with metal slides is marked with

Holmer Graflex Corp USA
US Pat 1641480 2056144
4x5 Graphic Film

Any help with locating some functioning ones very much appreciated!

Re: Hello from West Scotland

Thanks for the welcome guys. While still restoring my first view camera with the help of IanG, I actually bought three more. Won a box of treasures in a local auction. I just took delivery of my first 4x5 film and hope to give the Sanderson a spin this afternoon or tomorrow. Unfortunately, I only go...

WTB: 4x5 film holders with double groove

Looking to buy some working film holders for my Sanderson. These film holders have two grooves at the long sides (see below image). One is marked Graflex, but instead of the single groove found on most Graflex holders, it has a double groove.

Hello from West Scotland

Just acquired my first view camera, a wonderful piece of engineering in mahogany and brass dating to probably 1902/3. It is a half frame camera with a Thornton Pickard Time and Instant shutter and a CP Goerz 180 f6.3-f64 lens with a serial number dating back to 1902/3. I have been into photography s...
