Re: Recomendation for a 90mm lens
That is what I am fearing for a 90mm. There is a very expensive SK 110 lens on Robert Whites site at c£1700 which would foot the bill as the rear lens group looks to be c 25mm in overall length - if I can find a used one for £450 and fend off the competition with a stick I might be in with a chance ...

Re: Recomendation for a 90mm lens
Happy New Year to All - Thanks to all that took the time to reply to my question. Following some of the advise I secured a 90mm schnieder Kreuznach' SA f5,6 pre-loved as they say. Having just got a board to mount it to I set up my Horseman monorail for the first time - then again and a third time ma...

Re: Recomendation for a 90mm lens
Thanks Zoikes. I have pm'd - it is quite unfamiliar ground for me - everything for the last 7 years has been Nikon or nothing for my 35mm format. When I looked at used prices for Nikon LF glass I got the impression it doesn't come up very often.

Re: FS: 90mm, 135mm, 210mm lenses
Hi , I may be interested in the 90mm and maybe a board if it will fit a horseman 5x4 monorail ... I must measure up and find the size. Is the lens still available and could you send me images etc.

Recomendation for a 90mm lens
I am a little lost when it comes to selecting a suitable lens to start off with on my Horsman 5x4 monorail. I am pretty sure that a 90mm will cover most of what I want to start with based on what I have read. I have a fairly meager budget of a few hundred pounds - I have three other optics all of wh...

Re: New Member from the High Peak Derbyshire
Thanks Paul, it is a very nice part of the UK - currently very wet, very windy and pretty cold - Ive been here for 12 years now in a little cottage on the fringes of the PDNP. You can see some of my images on a website I host - all taken on a Nikon DSLR - http://www.peakdistrictcreations.co.uk/membe...

New Member from the High Peak Derbyshire
Just a quick hello. I am new to LF having acquired a Horseman LE (?) monorail camera and selection of 'dubious glass' to put up front. As far as I can tell the shutters are ... shall we say 'vaque' at the slower end. So my starting point is to find out where to go to get them serviced.... or rather ...
