just thought i would give you guys an update.

in the end i found an arca swiss on ebay, went for £170 in the end

needless to say i'm a happy bunny

here is an image from the other day, still needs a bit of cleaning up.

thanks guys,

in terms of scanning im lucky enough to have access to a flextight x5 so i should be able to scan 6x12 without a problem :)

and i did look at the 6x17, i think it would be a little too wide for me!

yes I was a little concerned about the plastic build! think i will go for the Dayi thanks for the advice.

sadly most of the drinking had to be given up for film already but i will sacrifice the rest for the sake of LF!

Being a poor and struggling student i will be buying one of the cheaper import backs as apposed to something a little more substantial. ah ok gotcha thank you for clearing that up

i will be shooting something in the new year which will ideally include the 6x12, so as and when i progress I will get some stuff up on here.

will be asking about the the dayi back in the equipment forum.
