FS: Linhof Technika MT2000
Hi guys, I've decided to trim back my collection of 5x4 cameras and have come to the conclusion that my MT2000 has to go. The bellows were replaced about 6 months ago and the whole camera is in beautiful condition. Those of you in the know will understand what a beautiful machine this is. I'm lookin...

Re: WTB: Camera case for using in rucksack
Marc, I face a similar predicament in that I want to carry my Ebony but keep it secure in a "proper" rucksack that'll be comfortable over distance. Since i'm not prepared to pay the shipping/import charges for Kelty/Backpacker kit, I started looking at fishing kit and have so far found reel cases th...

Re: DJ's post above, It's good to see that common sense prevails and that opinions of all colours are welcome. I value Ian's contribution to this (and other) sites where his knowledge of alternative processes would be sorely missed if the ultimate forum sanction were applied. Please lets all calm do...

All, Having watched this thread evolve and as a relative newcomer, i can't help but try to remind everyone of a few pointers. If you don't like how the board is run, then please leave. If you do like it, then please stay! Might i respectfully suggest that the main protagonists of this thread make an...

Barry,
I have a Durst Laborator 1000 with CLS450 colour and condensor heads available (I may even be willing to let my MG500 system go with it too).
PM me if you want more details.

Re: For Info - 5x4 Darkslide Storage
Our local Tesco does a similar range.
Their offering holds 6 DDS with room for an empty (or full) 25 sheet box.
I think it's labeled 2.4l and costs around £2.50.

Hi John,
There's a 65mm Nikkor on a certain auction site at the moment.
I'm not associated with the seller.
Regards,
Mike

Re: Advice on Manfrotto 410 head
Paul,
If you have a small amount of movement then isn't it likely that something is either loose or not fitted correctly?
When you say the vertical section, are you referring to the part that fits to the tripod centre column?

Re: Advice on Manfrotto 410 head
Hi Paul, I vaguely remember having a slight "looseness" on my 410 not long after I bought it. I resolved it by taking off the covering sticker with the degree graduations on it and tightening the central screw that lies underneath. Of course, which one you need to remove depends on the axis with the...
