...My advice is to get there as early as possible - I've found the gate open at 8.30 on occasions. Good luck! Lynne That is a good tip, as officially it opens at 9:00am. I think next week is possibly not the best time as its school half-term, which possibly means lots more people to get in the way....

Vanman Just checked out Retro, as you suggetsed, and you have got it wrong. Can't you read? Or do you just not understand it? Try the following: "...work needs to be done at Ilford to overcome these difficulties, which will naturally take some time". Thus POP has not gone, it is currently unavailabl...

Vanman,

There is no news of this on the Polaroid website, although it has been reported in the Boston Globe. However, I don't really trust newspapers to get the details correct.

Re: Kentmere Doomed

Well, It's started. It has been reported on another site that Simon R. Galley has announced Harmons intention to close (asset strip?) The Kentmere factory at Stavely in 2008 and "transfer some personnel and manufacturing equipment to The Harman Technology facility at Mobberley". I predict that the ...

Here we go :-) And all this just because Ilford bought Kentmere..... Charles, the definition was not mine, but as cited, and an American one at that. But there are almost as many definitions as you want I suppose. Whilst I agree that the colour levels can be too fine for us to distinguish, there is ...

If we follow the digital evangelist type of response, can we now declare digital dead?

Seriously, I can't find details about what sizes are/will be available.

LF Slide Printers

Hi,

Can anybody recommend a printer for LF slides?

There does not appear to be many (if any) doing LF Cibachrome, but I see that Photec & Peak do scan and print.
