Picked up the Calumet changing tent from Lancaster (see previous posts). Does the job a treat, although it took two of us nearly 3/4 of an hour to get it back into it's bag after it's first outing!

Guess what, The tent has been delivered. I am amazed that they did what they said they would.

Well done Calumet, now all they need to do is sort out their delivery address protocol.

Rang Calumet re-delivery delays, and after a bit of a "discussion" with customer services I have been assured it will arrive by Friday!

I await with baited (but not held) breath.

Re: crystal palace dinosaur

Megalosaurus, a giant and visually impressive even by today's standards, the Megalosaurus became one of the park's three 'mascot dinosaurs' along with the Iguanodon and (less so) the Ichthyosaurs. Yet it is arguably the most inaccurate of all of Hawkins's models, depicted as a quadruped that looks ...

Yes joining you on a day out would be great, if I'm not working that is. Unfortunately I still have not finished the work on the (currently the rack and pinion drive is all over my work area) on the Graflex View; but my Crown Graphis is now working a treat. As long as you Ebony owners promise not to...

My gripe with Calumet (not the courier this time) is that they require me to register my alternate delivery address with my bank! This would have been my fourth purchace, not my first. If you try and do that you get some very strange looks from the bank staff. Perhaps Calumet is only for Pro's and r...

Patrick; Thanks for the offer ,but I now have it sorted. I have a freind I'm visiting in Lancaster in a couple of weeks (wedding photographer) he's going to order one for me, and I'll pay him (plus a few tins of Carling) when I get there. This sort of thing is the downside of not being a city/town d...

My issue is that I can't get anything from their courier without mad rush of a near 80 mile round trip on a Saturday morning! They won't deliver to an alternate address, or sort out re-delivery on a day when I can be in without massive additional charge.

So I can't use Calumet!

Thanks, Calumet are reputable, just I have major issues with their choice of delivery agent, and their inflexibility even when I offer to pay any difference.

Does any one know of a UK supplier of these things apart from Calumet? Google search (even with the UK pages button ticked returns US suppliers). Looking for a Harrison Pup or similar; not a fan of Calumet delivery protocols (probably OK if you live in a "center of mass population").

E-Bay is not what is was, if I sell on there (even for a 99p sale) it goes recorded delivery, or it does not go. Simple as that

Saw Cornish and Ward on BBC Breakfast this morning - in Whitby. David Ward can't be a proper photographer though because he doesn't use an Ebony. 'Ready, Steady, Click', anyone?
