7 x 5 enlargers
I'm selling a couple of large format enlargers, I've just posted the first, a Durst laborator 138s on ebay, but also have an old Kodak which will print from 7x5 down to medium format. I can post further details is there is any interest?

Dark slide storage
Hi Dave
I use the light proof bags that darkroom paper comes in to hold the slides I need in my rucksack and then have other batches loaded in bags and keep them in a rigid electric cooler box in the car. I've used plastic containers in the past but find them bulky to carry around.

7 x 5 colour negative film only $11,217.00!
Thanks for all the input guys I picked up the following from the Large format link.... "What B&H is probably doing is taking advantage of Kodak's "minimum order" policy where Kodak will cut any filmmanufactured to any size requested with a minimum order (to them) of $10,000 from an established deale...

I’ve been using the medium format film holder from Doug Fisher (Better Scanning), for about a year now. I originally bought it for using on a 6 x 14 format but use it regularly for 67 and it works fine. (I have the V750pro) I made my own 7x5 and 10x8 format film holders from card and x-ray film (thi...

After a lot of deliberation I decided to take the plunge and look at a Shen Hao 7x5 field camera. I rang Robert Whites and arranged to go down and try out the FCL57A. The specification suggested the minimum bellows extension was 90mm, but I was hoping my 72XL on a sunken panel would fit and focus at...

10 x 8 for Portraits
Hmmm.. 10 x 8 might not be the best thing for portraits, the standard lens would be 360 to 450mm or longer (not as long as you would think given the format). This will give you problems with depth of field unless you have some powerful flash or would be happy with the very shallow depth of sharp foc...

North Yorkshire coast
I'll be going down to shoot the coast on large format and may well see you at Whitby, Saltwick, Ravenscar, Filey Brigg, or Flamborough Head? We're staying in Saltburn Friday to Sunday...I'll lookout for other folk hiding under dark cloths. BTW The chemical works at Redcar makes a fantstic large form...

10 x 8 format users
I usually make Robert White my first port of call when buying film but regularly find they don’t have it in stock and I buy form Silverprint…colour (Fuji print film) & B&W (HP5+ & FP4)…but both provide and excellent service. I develop my own B&W in deep tanks (having problems with streaking at the m...

An interesting camera George...I've asked the weight, it's not what I had in mind but it might be ideal for traveling. It was apparently made by Wista

7 x 5 field camera
Thanks for the advice, as Barry says, I could do with using one or at least having a good try out in one of the shops. I do already use 7x5 regularly, I have a couple of monorails, a Linhof Kardan Colour and a Sinar Norma with about 30 fidelity double dark slides. I had not realised they had stopped...
