As an update to those that were interested, this is now back up for sale. I have reduced the price to £4000, or for £4200, can throw in a Rodenstock 300mm in compur 3 to get you started.

IMACON FLEXTIGHT SERVICING

Hasselblad seem to have stopped 'visiting' to clean + service Imacon scanners. They now require we send ours to them at a very increased price. Has anyone come accross a company offering this service (doesn't have to be Hasselblad certified) that is able to visit sites?

Just to clarify, rc, inkjet / pretty much anything can be dry mounted to nearly any material without bubbling etc. I'm guessing the op had the heat too high if this was the result. I'm not at all sure the comparison with a writer is valid. The fundamental point about the writer is that it is his words which tell the story. Whether they are mediated through a typist is immaterial; the typist may as well be a speech-to-text program and has no input save the mechanical transcrip...
