Dave
I have an old (pre Z1) Arca head that might be suitable. I'll send you a PM.
Kind regards
David

Re: Out of Focus Photography at the Saatchi Gallery London
Thanks for the information, Marizu. And, um, apologies in advance for being negative, but I did think this was a pretty bad show. The Mitch Epstein's were, I agree, good - but there were only two of them, and the better one was in the Tate Modern photography room for months last year. And offsetting...

Edward Burtynsky at the Photographers Gallery
An interesting show, this; some 8x10s and some Hassy medium format digital. http://thephotographersgallery.org.uk/3382/Burtynsky-OIL The date is the give-away; Burtynsky apparently moved to digital after the Shipbreaking series when he started taking pictures from helicopters (as you do). http://www...

Getting a metal lens board rebored - any suggestions?
An earlier thread http://www.lf-photo.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3012 discussed the DIY approach to cutting lens boards, but no one had any suggestions about places in the UK who could do it. (I know someone who can in the US.) Given that the board I have is aluminium and I need a precision re...

Re: WTB: Linhof fit copal 1 lens panel
Hi Marc I just posted a reply to you on the other LF forum; I'm happy to take the Arca plate. I do have a Linhof Copal 1 plate we could swap too if that is of interest. However I'm away right now and wouldn't be able to post the Linhof plate until April 5th. http://www.lf-photo.org.uk/forum/viewtopi...

Printing blinds - advice on large prints on 'canvas'
Folks I am interested in printing a large photoblind. There are various services, e.g. http://printedspace.com/blinds.aspx . Has anyone had any experience of this? Presumably printing on canvas is a lot lower res than printing on fine art paper, so a 2400 dpi scan of 5x4 should be OK for a 60x48 inc...

There are these guys too

I have not seen, let along shot with their pinholes, but I do like the idea of something that has a standard shutter thread.

Close to Aberdeen?
Hi folks
I am going to be in Aberdeen in April with a day to spare but no car
Any suggestions for interesting locations which are accessible by rail, foot or bus from the city?
Kind regards and thank you
David.

OK, maybe I am being too ambitious. £230? Or make me an offer.
