Re: Jobo Expert 3006 for 5x4 and 5x7
Cool. I've taken a look on feebay at the actual prices these things have sold for and the range is rather larger from £75 all the way up to £250 with no obvious reason why. They all tended to come with various tanks as well. Do you have pictures of what you are selling? Any tanks etc included? Cheer...

Re: Contact printing frame
Dennis apologies I didn't respond to your pm on this. I didn't get a printing frame. What I did end up with was slightly different. I was in Ikea one day (or rather being dragged around by my wife) when I saw, in the warehouse section, a wooden shelf and a glass shelf to match; ie. they were the exa...

A Chapel...In a cave
This was probaby one of the most difficult photos situations I have tried to capture since moving back to film, it took some time to setup and figure out and I only had one shot at it. Ths image is of a Chapel that was carved out of the rock near the village of Goreme in Cappadokya. One part of the ...

Thanks for your help Trevor and Patrick.
More shots now coming off the development line and one in particular that I'd really looking forward to seeing when dried.

Mmmmm, seems I was a little hasty. The second is still showing a mark but it's not as bad as previous ones.

Re: Jolly Japes with 8x10
Bingo! That's done it. I followed your process this morning Trevor and not a single track line or strange mark to be seen - see below. Not only that but I have another neg drying right now and again, nothing. Thanks for the help. pool018.jpg Now, I just need to get out with this monster of a camera ...

Re: Jolly Japes with 8x10
Thanks Trevor - it's encouraging to know that it is possible to use the processor without any issues. Are you using the manual base at all? I processed another film last weekend and used 200ml of developer and much slower rotation - around 4/5 seconds per turn. The result was better but still gettin...

Re: Jolly Japes with 8x10
Thanks both. I am diluting the ID-11 1+3 and continuously agitating for 10 mins at 20 degrees using about 100mls. I am not agitating in the same direction all the time but generally 4 rotations one way and 4 rotations the other. One key factor maybe the speed which is way more then 2/3 rotations per...

Jolly Japes with 8x10
Many many moons ago I tracked down a Deardorff V8 - a beaut of a camera - as my 4x5 special was in need of a larger sibling. The grand plan was to contact print the resulting glorious negatives and scan as a backup. Now Istanbul isn't widely known for it's plethora of shops selling a vast array of 8...

Re: Early days in Istanbul
Hi Andrew,
the first two were shot using a Deardorff 4x5 special.
The lens for the 1st was a Rodenstock Sironar-N 300mm 5.6 and the second was a Schneider 90mm 5.6 Super Angulon.
Cheers,
Tim

Re: My photographic days are over!
Thanks for the list Dave.
Right now I'm after some like a Deardorff or similar so I'll back off for now.
Thanks,
Tim
