Re: Photographing Buildings.

I personally use my 4x5 whenever I can whenever photographing buildings. Though admittedly I tend to stick to using the Canon most of the time on commercial jobs. I have however, been using my Ebony sw45 pretty much exclusively on a project for a major client. You can check it out here http://www.fl...

Re: Coed-y-brenin area meet up.

Maybe the 15/16/17th ? Well the carpark closest to Pistyll Cain/Rheader Mawddach is about 10/15mins walk from each falls. There are some old mining works dotted around that are interesting quite close to the carpark. All depends what you fancy shooting. Afon Wen carpark has easy access to the river ...

Re: Coed-y-brenin area meet up.

You could probably make that work Muz. The Sinar might be a bit weighty to carry around but don't think we'd do to much walking.

Coed-y-brenin area meet up.

Anyone interested in a meet up around Coed-y-Brenin? thinking a little walk to Pistyll Cain / Rhaeder Mawddach from the nearby car parks.
Mid week would be better but could do a weekend.

Mitch Epstein @ The Open Eye, Liverpool

People probably know already but the Open Eye gallery in Liverpool has reopened in its new home at the pier head.
Currently they have a series of prints on display by Mitch Epstein from his American Power series.
They are some superb, HUGE prints. If your in the neighborhood go check it out.

Re: new website

Nice clean layout. Don't mind the yellow links, but perhaps just have as a roll over state.
I'd add some more kerning to your titles, they are a little to tight.
Add a little more space between each link just to seperate and define them a bit more.

Re: Budget lf tripod?

Third for the manfrotto 055, can't go wrong with one of those. I have a 055mf3 pro, carbon/mag tripod with a 110 geared head and its been spot on. Also have an ali 055 pro with a 029 head, that lives out in Spain, which is a bombproof budget combo. Only thing i'd say is avoid the new ones with the s...

WTB: Fuji 64t / RTPII, 4x5, Quickload or Loose

Well I under-estimated how much Fuji 64T I'd end up using and didn't stock up enough when mrcad had some. After 4x5 sheets either loose or Quickloads.
Let me know what you got.

Re: Imacon Flextight Precision

I have a Precison II and its a great scanner. Deadpans covering everything there. Though mine works fine with a Belkin scsi2fw Adapter, it has the odd 'fit' but I used to work on a photo and 848 and they did the same things! Christian Poulsen told me once the internals in the Photo, Precision and 84...
