Re: FS Epson Expression 1680 scanner
Hi Dave,
Just wondering if you might suggest what the scanning quality is like with this machine. I'm certainly in the market for a scanner, and have been looking at the V750, how might that scanner compare with the 1680?
If the 1680 with 5x4 scans well, I could go for it.
Thanks, Paul.

Re: SELL OR SWAP: Wista DX
Thanks Marc,
I guess it was the same one, sorry about that. Good luck with getting one. I must say, it's great and solid as a rock.
Best,
Paul.

SELL OR SWAP: Wista DX
Just bought a Walker SF, so have little need for the Wista.
It's as good as new, with the box.
Would like to either raise enough cash to buy an Epson V750,
or swap for something as good or similar.
The V750 is about £575 or thereabouts, so any offers welcome.
Thanks.

Re: Mike Walker ABS 5x4 Film Boxes.
The box is almost identical in proportion to a regular cardboard film box, therefore probably holding the same amount. Within the box, are some pieces of card to sandwich the sheets in, the same as a normal box.
Give Mike a call.

Re: Mike Walker ABS 5x4 Film Boxes.
The film boxes were mentioned here on the forum a while ago, so I spoke to Mike, and asked if would start making them again. He very kindly did, and when I get the chance, I will take some photographs of them, and post them here. They are made of ABS, and are the same size and similar design/ concep...

Re: New member from South Devon
Have you considered that a large file size shot with a digital camera might produce the image quality you are asking for?
Of course, this is dependent on the size of print you are looking for, but the cost would be a lot less, and possibly negligible
loss of quality.
Just a thought.

Re: New LF user from London
I would suggest looking at the set of three books by Ansel Adams, The Camera, The Negative and The Print.
All 3 are brilliant, and steer you through the whole process.
