Re: Jobo CPP2

They are the best and easiest way to process sheet film ,no more spirals and they ensure the chemicals are spread really evenly.
Once you use one you will never go back, consistent good negs, every time.

A lot of money for a bit of plastic, but worth every penny :D

Re: The Return Of Jobo?

Hopefully now I'll be a bit less paranoid about my CPP2 blowing up.

Just hope they are priced competitively, but if they are giving away a free lift at £290 I guess they are going to be £500+

Re: Jobo CPP2

I bought a well used one a couple of years ago, still going fine with an 3006 expert drum. Think they struggle if you put lots of chemicals in them, I haven't had a problem, yet, as I use b/w dev 1+1, 300ml total solution, even better if you use stock as for 6 5x4 you would need approx 150ml dev. Al...

I mix the stab using distilled water, have you tried that? Never bother with a squeegee.

Re: Highly diluted vs Two Baths developers

Suppose like most things Darkroom, conduct your own tests and see which works best for your application/methodology.
I've never really had any need/desire to go much past ID-11/Perceptol/Microphen and now XTOL.

Re: WANT: sinar F, F1 or F2

Matt at Ag photographic has one for sale, not sure what model, might be a P but give him a ring.
He's also got loads of Sinar lenses which might be of interest?

Re: which black and white film?

All depends on what results you are looking for and what developer you use, guess there isn't a correct answer. I don't like the look of delta/tmax and use FP4 and Tri-X just because they give me the consistent results I like. I'm sure there are graphs galore to disprove this theory but it's what wo...
