Hole in one's Lihof style board
I had the same 'problem' with the position of the lens hole in Linhof style mount boards. I use Ebony cameras which - according to Ebony - 'use 96mm x 99mm Linhof Technika lens boards'. I bought 2 new lenses from Robert White ( 2 seperate purchases); although both were mounted on 96mm x 99mm boards,...

Changing Tents
I have a 'pup' and it's the bees whatnots. Pricey but is more than adequate for 5 x 4. I recommend it fully and think of the interest you'll get when you're loading 5 x 4 in the tearooms

SPOTMETERS
Hi Joanna, I hope you are well. I'm afraid that as a non-techy, I don't know how to re-post the link. My comment is also a wee bit late; I responded to the last post on page 1 of the topic - sadly there are 2 pages and Steve has bought his meter.

spotmeters
Hi Steve, an after-thought. Joe Cornish uses the Pentax and swears by it as he prefers to work in EV's (you can also do that with the Seconic L-608. The Pentax is small and the baterries appear to last for ages.

Spotmeters
Hi Steve, just to add more info to the discussion. I had - and still have a Gossen F2 with a 5-degree spot attachment and it works fine. No flash measurement but oK for the great outdoors. I also have a Sekonic L-608 which has flash capability. Of the 2, I would recommend the Sekonic; it's heavy and...

I like it, dark mountains and all. I missed out on this location so directions - including avoiding the trenches, valleys wrecked underwater housings - would be appreciated

i have a 3200 scanner - I bought it when it was the flag-ship Epson scanner. It does a good job. I've never had a problem with the film holder - just treat them carefully. I do sometimes get Newtons rings where any not-too-flat 5 x 4 tranny touches the glass. I solved that by placing the tranny with...

I also want to say a big thank you to Joanna and Dave and to everyone for making me feel so welcome on my first workshop. I am also honing up my 'locate the resteraunt skills'. Special thanks to Willi & Debs for helping me haul all my gear to the room. I have a feeling that me leaving a day earlier ...
