Will this fit any camera with an international back or is it only compatible with Ebony cameras?

Re: 6x12 backs
I have a Shen Hao which is a re-badged version of the Dayi. It is a well built piece of kit. Not as sophisticated as the more expensive offerings but it does the job. Mine has the benefit of having format masks for 6x9, 6x6 and 6x4.5 as well.

Re: Ilford pricing
This has been the subject of discussion on other fora as well. I agree with your sentiments about supporting Ilford but it is quite ironic that it is cheaper to import film from the US especially if you are looking to buy in any kind of bulk. Its a great shame that the same cannot be said for paper....

Re: Adox film?
I believe that we will not see any offerings in large format for the foreseeable future. I know that Fotoimpex are working to reintroduce the APX line of films but have not heard/read of any real progress for a long time.

Re: Jobo Expert Tanks
They are not really practical for inversion processing but can be rolled on a worktop or using a Jobo 1509 manual roller base. I used a manual base before I bought my Simmard motor base.

Re: Black tape for Fidelity dark slides
If you want to try the Progaff it can be obtained from www.fancy-tapes.co.uk at £8.00 for 1 inch wide and 60 yards long. It also comes in some unusual colours and designs in addition to black. I have no connection with the company.

Re: Photobackpacker 4x5 RPT Cascade Film Holder Case
I'll let you know what extra Customs charge I pay and how I find it when I use it in the Spring-Summer next year. 8) It arrived Friday, with no custom charges levied (unless they are levied later!). If they were not levied prior to delivery then there will be no charges to pay. My experience is tha...

Re: 240mm lens advice, please
You may also want to consider a 240mm F9 Apo Ronar. I have one of these and it is a tiny lens. Although it is marketed as a process lens it performs very well at infinity.

For those who use Grafmatic film holders, Bruce Laughton has confirmed that they also fit this case.

Re: Recomendation for a 90mm lens
I use a multi coated Super Angulon f8 and find it to be an excellent lens. As a 5x4 user I find its coverage more than adequate for my needs. I mainly do landscape with a small amount of architecture. I do find that whilst not absoloutely necessary it is more convenient to use bag bellows. Although ...

Re: Fomapan 100 film
I rate Fomapan at iso 50 and develop for 11 minutes in Pyrocat HD 1:1.5:100. I find it builds contrast quickly and produces bright punchy negatives with fine grain. I find that many of my subjects only have a subject brightness range of 4 stops so the extra contrast comes in handy. However, whilst t...

Re: Drying sheet film
Try finding Paterson or Jobo film clips. They use small needles that pierce the film rather than crimp it.
