Me again. I must say this idea of a copal 3 mounted to the front of old lenses sounds cool. I'm thinking about some lovely swirly bokeh!
The next challenge would be finding someone to drill the boards...! I guess this is straightforward.

WTB lenses for 5x7
Hi folks It's that time of year when I have some time to dream about upcoming large format photo projects! Anyway, thought I'd do a quick trawl to see if anyone has lenses to sell that happily cover 5x7 with movements. I have a few lenses already, but looking for lenses in the region of: 115/120/121...

Re: FS: Kata Beetle 282 camera rucksack
Hi Marc
How much do you think shipping would be? And can you let me know how adjustable is the shoulder strap system - I'm looking for a new backpack to help with my bad back!
Thanks
Gareth

Re: Penumbra
Very sad news. MXV were always brilliant to deal with, and I popped in there once and was made to feel very welcome. Not to mention their interesting and well-priced stock - much missed and RIP Mark.

Re: WTB: Lightweight 5x7 (or perhaps even 8x10) field camera
In my intermittent searches over the years, I have never seen one advertised in the UK. I can't imagine that many were made?
The photos on the website are amazing - very atomic era!

Re: WTB: Lightweight 5x7 (or perhaps even 8x10) field camera
Hi Andrew Thanks for your reply. Indeed, there are lots of variables. My current preference is towards 5x7, simply because I can use my existing lenses and it's a bit more portable. And I like the size/proportion. But if a lightweight, reasonably-priced 8x10 came along, I might find it hard to resis...

WTB: Lightweight 5x7 (or perhaps even 8x10) field camera
Hello everyone, I'm beginning a search for a lightweight 5x7 - or even 8x10 - field camera for a potential new project that will mix architecture/landscape with some portraits. Hence I would preferably like some decent front rise/fall and bellows extension suitable for portrait length lenses. I thou...

WTB: 8x10 or whole plate field camera
Hi, just thought I'd drop a line to see if anyone is interested in selling their 8x10 or whole plate field camera. I'm looking for something new or old, but good condition with light-tight bellows and - if it's vintage - suitable lens panels etc to ensure that the camera is fully functional. It's fo...

London calling!
Hello from west London. I am a professional photographer who stopped shooting 5x4 about 5/6 years ago when I went digital. But I've decided to return my old analogue ways for personal projects, creating images without any use of computers whatsoever. Let's see how that goes..! My current plan is to ...
