I have bought very large Kaiser push-on lens caps from RK Photographic in the past. Their website http://www.thedarkroom.co.uk/ only shows the snap-on types but he can get the others.

I did not mean my post to sound quite so negative as it does. I think the head looks very interesting but I wish that more information was provided in the press release.

Looks very interesting but I could not find any details of the carrying capacity. I also saw elsewhere that the quick release clamp is not RRS, Kirk... compatable.

The US LF site is safe. It's running version 3.6.4. The version with the problem is 3.8.6.

Best to let others upgrade first to test the release :D

I will do. I've used it a little to do some indoor still life images and was pleasantly suprised how easy it was to level the camera. With the 45SU the tension for the ball head needs to be set almost to the limit but having set the tension, which was quick and easy, levelling was quicker. I should...
