Re: 10x8 Wide Angle Lens Recommendations
John, another lens that you might include is the Apo-Sironar-W 210/5.6, image circle 352 mm. It is no longer made but it comes up second-hand. Copal 3 shutter, so heavy. The -W lenses were a limited range that were initially called just "Apo-Sironar", and are similar in design to the -N and -S serie...

Re: 5x7 film
Dennis, of course no-one can answer your question, but having a 5x7 setup I have followed film availability for the past few years, based on which the future looks good, particularly for B&W. The choice will never be as great as 5x4, but there are a lot of 5x7 fans out there, particularly in N Ameri...

Re: spot meters
Can any one recommend one. Yes, I suggest that you look around for a second-hand Pentax digital spotmeter. Ian has written about the Minolta Spotmeter F, which I can vouch for from personal experience. It's great. Unfortunately mine died after a dip in Buttermere, which wrecked the electronics. My ...

Re: Recommendation for shutter service needed!
You could try Newton Ellis in Liverpool, http://www.newtonellis.co.uk/. I haven't had them service a shutter but they have done other work for me to a high standard, and with a quick turn-around time.
I have no connection with them other than as a satisfied customer!

Looks like a very nice box. Do you know if he makes them in 5x7? Or if he would? How much are they?

Sold: Rodenstock 150/5.6 Apo-Sironar(-W) lens, covers 5x7
Rodenstock 150/5.6 Apo-Sironar MC lens in Copal 1 shutter. This is the same lens that was later rebadged with a yellow stripe and called Apo-Sironar-W. Covers 80 degrees, making this one of the best (and possibly the best) gentle wide-angle landscape lens for the 5x7 format. In almost mint condition...
