WTB: Lee gelsnap holder

Just wondering if anyone has a Lee gel snap holder for polyester filters that they no longer require? Condition not important as long as it works. I used to have one but seem to have misplaced it. Thanks, Tristan

Re: 10x8 Wide Angle Lens Recommendations

Nikon 120mm SW f/8 - 312mm image circle at f/22 and 77mm filter thread. A little on the heavy side but one of my favourite lenses. I think the Schneider Super Angulon 121mm + 120mm f/8 lenses might just about cover it too (not certain). I've seen one or two them so quite cheap on ebay.

Re: Buying Film Abroad

I recently imported 300 sheets of 5x4 Portra 400NC. It worked out at approximately £1.70 per sheet after taxes which is about half the UK price. It's a no brainer, assuming you are buying a reasonable amount of film. Tristan

Thanks Baxter - I'll have a look for some of those at the post office. Kebab skewer sounds good too, will be trying that also. Tristan

Drying Kodak negatives

I've always been a big Fuji user (mainly due to lower price) but am about to take delivery of a load of Kodak 400NC which is possibly my favourite of all colour negative films. Fuji sheet film has the wonderful (in my opinion) little hole in one corner so I can hang the sheet from a bent paperclip :...

Re: A Sturdier Tripod?

I was quite happy with a Gitzo 5541 and a Kirk BH1, generally fairly solid but that camera is a bit like having a sail at the top of your tripod! Good luck. Tristan

I was very happy with the results from a standard 2830 print tank, no issues with quality but only one sheet at a time. Tristan

Free: Howtek 4500 box!

Bit of an odd one but does anyone want an original Howtek 4500 box? Well it is actually for a Crosfield 240 but they are the same thing. Ideal for anyone thinking of selling their scanner as it makes it much easier to move about and transport safely. Pickup only - Harrogate, North Yorkshire. NO LONG...

Re: Budget 5x4 scanners?

Hi Adrian I removed the message because I am starting to think it is actually worth holding onto the scanner. I looked at some transparency scans and they are good scans so I may find use for it yet. Still if you wanted it and are willing to pick it up it is still available. It's a good scanner for ...
