Film for sale on eBay
Someone in Japan is selling a stack of 5x4 sheet film, possibly even too much for one individual to want. It's anyone's guess what the final price will be, but I thought it worth posting in case you are in touch with others who would split the purchase and maybe use the mono if you only wanted the c...

Re: Contact printing frame
Where can 10x8 printing frames be bought? Or can they be made from a converted picture frame? I'd like to find one which allows the whole 10x8 area to be printed. Why not post a Wanted ad in the Classifieds section? Can't do any harm and it might just trigger someone's memory that they have one tuc...

Re: Fuji Velvia 50 5x4 @ Robert Whites
Not taking this too far off topic, but it looks like their new website doesn't have any realtime stock levels. I don't know what the difficulties and economics of realtime are, but it's my pet hate when websites take your money and sometimes even send confirmation emails when the stock was gone befo...

Christmas present?
Not everyone's cup of tea, but there are probably a few here that would enjoy the snappily titled "Use of Historic Lenses in Contemporary Photography Book"

Re: WTB 5x7 DDS
Walker Cameras list them at £45, but I'm not sure if that's for 1 only, then there's VAT and then it may only be for his camera customers. It'll not cost much to ask, though. http://www.walkercameras.com/a_cut-film.html cliffpr on eBay also has them at £34.99, but the photo doesn't inspire me with c...

For anyone interested in a user report on this camera, the link below has a video of Leon Taylor trying out the camera. It's about 20 minutes, but you can skim the interlude section at halfway!

You don't say much about the type of shots, but I'd recommend looking at Ian Leake's website for tasteful nudity and a variety of body parts shot with 5x4 and above!

Hi Charles, Are you cutting film to half plate size or have you a secret source of half plate film. I've got the holders but no film, I prefer 5x7 but half plate at the right price would be nice. Vanman. I haven't actually used them myself, but here's a link to a German website. http://www.lumiere-...
