Joanna,
Thanks. I'll try a cartridge next time I need some. Best wishes, Dennis.

Re-filled Epson ink cartridges.
Not sure if this is the correct soap box, but does anyone have any experience of using Epson re-filled ink cartridges, specifically for the R800 printer, as supplied by Premier Ink? They are £3.99 (13ml) as opposed to £14.99! Too cheap to be worth it? But my printer is now getting elderly & I wonder...

Re: Rollei projector/screen.
George,
I guess that figures, but I thought it was worth a try placing the ad. Some members may have a 35mm slide collection they'd like to project occasionally. Best wishes, Dennis.

Re: For Sale: 10x8 Ritter camera.
John, I have not found the front to be particularly prone to movement. Because it offers both base tilt & on axis tilt it does need to be tightened methodically, but then all large format cameras require that anyway. The Ritter does offer an excellent range of movemets in relation to its weight, whi...

Re: Scotland, short term rental.
John,
Thanks for your reply, but Rogart is too far east for us. We shall be looking at the NW coastal region; we lived on Coll during the 80s & & prefer the west side. Dennis.

Scotland, short term rental.
Hi all, We are considering a move to the NW coastal area of Scotland (not on an island) & may need to take a short term rental in order to have a good look for a suitable property. If anyone can suggest/recommend anything do let me know. We shall be in the area for a couple of weeks in March as a st...

Updated web site!
Update on this. Not very tidy, but does include some new stuff. The adventurous among you may like to have a browse in this site - <densemporium.weebly.com> - from time to time. It is an ongoing project in the probably vain hope of disposing of some of my collection of items from the various genres ...

Re: Seeking Field Camera Suggestions
I can confirm the above. It will take a 55mm lens with the short 'wide-angle' lens panel, & still allow a little movement. Dennis.

Yes, the original message did, I think, make clear that it was an 'off-topic' question, & it has aroused some useful - to me - answers. Who knows, perhaps others too have found it of interest. Thanks anyway to all who have replied. Dennis.

Re: Mobile broadband.
Thanks for all the replies. They provide food for thought. I don't currently have a mobile since we rarely use the phone anyway(!). Have heard rumours that Apple will be announcing an updated Macbook shortly, so shall await & see if that comes to anything. I am not in a great hurry & it may have a b...

Re: Mobile broadband.
Lynne,
Thanks. Do you use a pad, or laptop with it, & is it possible to use them in a phone mode? My ignorance - I assume the mifi gadget is network specific?. I obviously need to do more research. Dennis.
