Steve, you can try teamwork (www.teamworkphoto.com) down south. They have a repair unit apparently. I spoke to them some time ago to CLA my Angulon 90 Copur. Didn't send it then, as I ran out of time for the last workshop... :) I heard good things about Newton Ellis in Liverpool as well. Might be wo...

I don't know what pro2col are using, but I would think that the Printfile stuff on Silverprint's catalogue (www.silverprint.co.uk, look under archiving) would help?

John, Yorkshire Dales sounds great to me. I went there with Jo and Helen last week and there are certainly some really nice pictures to be had. There's even some climbing available for Charles :) Bunk House sounds fine to me. People who snore will be shot at dawn  Seriously, I have no problem w...

Steve Loch Lomond looks god (on the map at least). And I think I like the idea of a youth hostel for everybody. Much easier to get everyone together for the evening. Food is also much easier to arrange (Who's turn is it to peel the potatoes  ). Seriously, with a decent area such as this, I thin...

Personally, I think name wise we should stay as simple as possible.

"UK Large Format Group" or "UK Large Format Photography Group" is simple and to the point. Anyone who knows a little about photography should know what it is about. No mistakes, no misunderstanding. :!:

My 2p.

Charles, Paul, the new deesign is excellent. Simple and straight forward. I like the little touch with the shutter blades as bullet points. As a little thing, can we occasionally rotate the image in the top left? We don't want to be too Ebony centric, do we? Otherwise everybody starts stroking their...

Great! hands-on technology that is dated but not outdated in this all-automated, digital age I'd change that to " dated and somewhat outdated", personally... And a line about the tea-room-appreciaction-sub-committee would be usefull, to show we aren't all standing in the rain continously for hours (...

I'm not so much worried about the weather, as long there's decent tearooms in the area :)

Personally, I prefer to keep funding arrangements informal but transparent. I will (when I get 'round to it) post a summary of wewbsite expenses on the Anouncements Forum, which will detail costs of registration, etc. and how much it will cost to run per month. The "Passing the Hat" in Somerset (Is ...
