Re: River Orchy, Glencoe

Thanks DJ

I have a 12 x 18 print hanging on my wall now
If I say so myself it does look rather nice!

River Orchy, Glencoe

Hi,

This one was made on a L and L tour to Glencoe last year.

It was snowing gently and was at least an hour after sunset, although with the carpet of snow it was difficult to tell apart from the blueness of the light!

Hopefully this will work

Comments anyone?

Thanks for all the replies on the strange " clipping " I was getting on my images. I have now identified this as " bellows rise " the opposite of bellows sag occuring on the rear bellows ( that allows the back to be shifted away from the camera body ). It seems that when closing the rear into the ca...

I have recently changed from the 4990 to the V700 and am using a better scanning film holder ( the same one I was using for the 4990 ) I have found that there is a difference but it is not a massive leap forward. Consequently I have a 4990 second hand that is available ( without the better scanning ...

Thanks Marc, for your thoughts

I dont at this stage use too much in the way of movements as i am still finding my feet, so to speak and i always remove the darkslides completely.

Two Questions

I have been using a LF camera for some months ( with varying degrees of success) and have a couple of technical questions that I could do with some advise on. Firstly i am noticing that ( predominantly ) with upright shots where the film holder is inserted from the top of the camera back, I am getti...

Hi all

Concerning uniB' s last Q on where to get wet mounting fluid in the UK, anybody have any recommendations?

My kit is on it's way from Betterscanning but I am flummoxed by the best fluid to try out.

Any suggestions gratefully recieved
