Re: LF starter kit ideas please...
There's a bargain on Ebay Uk at the moment - a complete Wista 45DX outfit with 3 really nice lenses (75, 150 and 210), a load of double darkslides, centre filter for 75mm and a few odds and ends for a shade over £1000. By my reckoning if split the outfit would be worth at least £1300-1400.

Re: Paterson Orbital Processor
The 30mm are the ones to go for - they are easy to trim with a craft knife if they need to be shortened slightly.

Which dust cover?
Can anyone suggest a dust cover(s) for an Epson 3800 printer and an Epson V700 scanner? Prefer from UK/EU to avoid "extras"!

Re: Clipped corners on ground glass?
The pressure Issue does sound risky - I always thought it a myth. However I have seen a bellows pop on a rail camera that had been extended and then the standards collapsed quickly to pack it down!

Re: Clipped corners on ground glass?
Hi Patrick
Clipped corners prevent the build up of "pressure" in the bellows - and also allow viewing to see if aperture in use will vignette on film.

Re: Equipment or photographer?
I'd personally never touch anything electronic that has been used by a Pro :D However, buying used large format equipment is probably a better bet than most when purchasing from a professional - there is very little that can go wrong with LF gear. I would have thought that even a wooden camera would...

Not sure if these are any good but if you look on Ebay UK and under Large Format search for "Sinar" there are a number of levers for the Norma camera on offer...may be useful?
