Re: Harman Titan 5x4 Pinhole review
On this subject, is it possible to buy a pinhole that would fit a Linhof Technika standard lens board? Cheers, Val I think Skink Pinhole http://skinkpinhole.com/wp/ make something that fits a Linhof panel. Paul. Thanks Paul, though it would be nice if the website was written in English as well... :...

Re: Ridgeway outing?
It was really great to meet you all and a very enjoyable day it was. Many thanks to Paul for organizing. 7 exposures and they all came out OK, I think I'm slowly getting the hang of this large format game :D Here are some of my favourites from the day… http://farm7.staticflickr.com/6222/6379134539_5...

Re: Hello from Bristol.
Welcome to the forum Paul, I did say you would receive a warm welcome! As an aside I've been exploring parts of the Ridgeway recently and am willing to organise a day out somewhere near Swindon if anyone's interested? Paul Sadly , I'm actually in Swindon- well, someone has to live here! Serio...

Re: Storage of exposed film
Hi Jules, I think in the fridge would be best, and probably in some kind of air tight container so it doesn't get damp. I guess your other option is to post it to a lab rather than deliver in person, depends how well you trust the French postal service. Or you could do what I've done and start proce...

Re: Fogging
Hi Val, Is there any chance your dark band could be caused by bellows shadow? From your description it sounds like something I've experienced when using a lot of rise/fall causing the bellows to intersect the image circle. Then again, if it's dark in the negative then that couldn't be the case. Paul.

This is all sounding very familiar.
I've haven't yet tried shooting with no film in the camera but I'm sure that day will come

Mistakes we've made...
Being new to large format I am of course making plenty of mistakes but today's was probably the dumbest so far. I’ve just acquired a Horseman 6x9 roll film holder and decided to head out at dawn to try it out, two hours and almost 2 rolls of film later I finally noticed I had my light meter set to I...

Re: Filter fogging
Or you could just embrace it and enjoy that dreamy soft focus effect fogged filters give :) Seriously though, my guess would be that your gear would be warming up at a much slower rate than the air around it thus causing the moisture in the air to condense on the filter. This would suggest that you ...

Re: Numpti scanning question
From what I've seen the affordable dedicated slide scanners don't do 4x5 (not sure about 6x6) unless you go for something very expensive like an Imacon, a good quality flatbed with transparency unit like the Epson V700 will stand you in good stead for 135, 120 and 4x5 transparencies.

Re: ND filters for long exposures
Don't forget, at the moment, Lee are quoting around six months lead time for new orders of filters. Oh, and that I can do 15% discount if you want to order through me 8) This is definitely true of the grads and the 10 stop ND but many of their other ND filters seem to be easily available from the 0...

Re: E6 DIY processing?
Just a quick update, I got my CPE2 a few days ago, film reel and various other bits and pieces turned up yesterday so I shot some test sheets this morning to try it out; popping the lid of the tank for the first time and seeing it had worked was a pretty exciting moment, now I just need to wait for ...

Thanks Ian, thanks Joanna,
CPE2 it is then, that ATL1500 was already looking a bit pricey and you’ve convinced me to let it be.
