Re: WTB: Urgent, Linhof/Wista board in Copal 3
Ok got one now, thanks for all the help, in the end teamwork were selling non branded linhof copal 3 boards made by Walker of Walker cameras, works a treat!!! :D Tad expensive though at £30 but well pleased to find a solution so quickly and the board seems very well made with an additional light baf...

Re: How do you cut window mounts?
I was a bit daunted by this a few years ago and used to pay someone else money to cut these for me and they were never right. Then prior to a big exhibition of my work I invested in a FrameCo MatMaster for a good price from ebay: http://www.matmaster.info/ and a terrific bit of free software called ...

FS: MINT and BOXED 210mm f/5.6 Apo-Symmar. Dropped Price
Ok this has to go so have dropped the price significantly and included pics: http://www.photohome.uku.co.uk/stuff.html Mint and boxed, both schneider lens caps, a very reluctant sale, easily the sharpest of all my 5x4 lenses and bags of coverage for 5x4 (will actually just about cover 10x8) but I ha...

Thanks David,
Worth a shot, will give a try if no luck but I really wanted something for Tuesday next week when I will get a chance to test out the new lens.
Cheers

WTB: Urgent, Linhof/Wista board in Copal 3
Hi All, I finally have a nice Rodenstock 240 Sironar N in Copal 3 for my 10x8 Gandolfi Variant (what a whopping great lens it is, first time I have ever seen a Copal 3 lens and the size of it took me by suprise!) and as luck would have it, it came with a Sinar lensboard which the Gandolfi takes, onl...

WTB: 210 or 240 lens to cover 10x8
Hi all, Really need a 210 or 240 to cover 10x8. I already have a Schneider 210mm f/5.6 Apo-Symmar (for sale here: http://www.lf-photo.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1471) but it doesnt quite have the coverage on 10x8 even stopped right down (I mainly shoot at infinity) and vignettes on 10x8 althou...

Mint and boxed, both schneider lens caps, a very reluctant sale, easily the sharpest of all my 5x4 lenses but I have recently moved to 10x8 and now need a lens with more coverage.

Re: Anti-Newton Glass
the 8x10 "holder" provided with the V700/750 scanners is merely a plastic film "frame" you place around the edges of the film to try to keep it flat Hadn't realised the 700 scanners came with this for 10x8, my 4990 does not, wondering if they are compatible, may not be ideal as I like scanning the ...

Re: Anti-Newton Glass
Thanks for all the replies, I strongly suspect the newton rings you're seeing are from the scanner flatbed glass, not the AN glass. No its not that, if I place the film on the glass glossy side down I get no newton rings (just curling corners), I know this should work because it worked fine with the...

Anti-Newton Glass
Hi all, Anyone know where I can source AN glass from in the UK to cover 10x8 on my 4990 scanner? I purchased AN glass from these guys: http://www.knightoptical.co.uk/acatalog/DiffusersAnti-NewtonGlass.htm Nice, company, cut it to size, thought it was my ideal solution to get around curling negatives...

Re: High End Inkjet Printing Paper Question
Thanks Ian PM sent By the way I have used these guys before for online digital C types and very large inkjets on Hahnemuhle Pearl (which is very similar to the Epson Traditional Photo Paper, just even more expensive!): http://www.theprintspace.co.uk/ I'm also interested in what Tim mentioned about t...
