Re: Arca Swiss Service in UK
Humble apology for moving the border in such a cavalier manner.... Being an Ebony man through and through.... I have to say that the Arca to date has endeared itself with its sheer quality (even old & s/h cf the new Ebony). I was going to write up a '1st week with the AS' blog early next wee...

Re: Velvia Expensive - Provia Cheap
Hi Tim
The frustrating thing is that - Fuji does not communicate supply issues very well. I think Joanna did say in an earlier email, that Fuji UK will be importing fresh Velvia 50 at some time in future.
If velvia 50 is not re-stocked at reasonable prices I will use Provia Velvia 100 all the time.

Quickload film inserted wrong way
Hi
I inserted and exposed a quickload the wrong way, is this still usable, or is it now damaged and wrongly exposed. I realised this as soon as I pressed the shutter.
Can i use this film again, or it badly exposed and now unusable. Any experience or tips.

Velvia 50 Discontinuation rumours
I have just been on the phone to Robert White, who have stopped selling Velvia 50 Quickload, apparently Fuji UK are also going to stop importing Velvia 50, as it is going out of date, due the minumum order required to import from Fuji Japan. Things don't look promising for 5x4, initial Kodak pulled ...

Issa, Mewslade Bay just to the SSE of Rhossili. It's only uncovered at low tide (for a few hours either side) so check the tide tables. Park at Pitton - there's a (£2) parking area in a farmer's field just to the left of the road into Rhossili - and it's about 1/2 mile walk. Type Pitton into Google...
