Nice looking site. Tasteful, restrained greys and I like the blue highlight menus. Two things I noted with a quick look - in What's Up you have several options bunched together at the bottom right (personal...). This doesn't look quite right, WIP? Secondly, I don't understand the significance of th...

How do you transport your P2 (assuming you shoot with it outdoors), sinar case, peli case, big backpack, sherpa? I lug my Cambo around in a large 1620 Peli Roller Case. But only to get it to a studio :) On a separate note, I took a look at your website tonight.... I have to say I'm impressed! Nice ...

Soliciting opinions on a website...
Hi All, I need to ask a favour.... I've just spent a moderately enjoyable afternoon putting together a website for my photographs and I would like some opinions about it.... If your time permits, can you divert your browsers to: http://homepage.mac.com/mjjs/Photography/ and have a quick look ...

I'm still of the opinion that the Blackjacket is the best compromise between size and usability. However, this depends highly on the way you work. Mos people will accumulate a number of darkcloths over the time they use LF cameras until they find what suits them best :) I worked with a Morco dual la...

Paul, What Emmanuel said :) If in doubt, take a test shot to see what you get. Also, some fresnel screens are made for wide angle or tele lenses, resulting in significant apparent light falloff when looking t the screen (it's coming off at a different angle so you aren't noticing it...). Try one and...

Ben, Yep, the 410 is probably fine. Just make sure you mount the camera not too fare off the centre of gravity.... This'll not be too problematic, unless you want to do downwards or macro shots, need extreme drop, etc. Still, large tripod is definitely recommended. The Sinar is a Studio camera... It...

Re: Two Questions
Jon, Firstly i am noticing that ( predominantly ) with upright shots where the film holder is inserted from the top of the camera back, I am getting some clipping of the film area. There are a couple of images linked below to demonstrate. <...> I am using a Horseman45FA with S K 150mm and 90 mm lens...

Hiya Ben, Welcome to our select little group  The Sinar is an excellent camera, if somewhat ..... huge. I think Andrew (Apple) has one as well, so he may be better suited to give appropriate comments.... Bookwise, Leslie Strobel (The View Camera Handbook or something like that) springs to mind....
