I saw this on Bazza's Bazaar, and I stress that I have nothing to do with the seller. Though I am a happy user of a Pup.

Arca Swiss tripod plate with 3/8" thread
I'm looking for a small Arca Swiss tripod plate with a 3/8" thread. It's not actually for photography; I want to attach a shotgun microphone to my Gitzo/Acratech/Kirk tripod so that I can record wildlife sounds, and recording kit uses 3/8" threads to connect together. I'm after a small square plate ...

Cotswold Salon 2012
This was also posted on APUG, and I've got the permission of Geoff Camber to bring it to your attention. Unfortunately, this is only for UK photographers. Nick Cotswold Salon 2012 The Cotswold Salon - the only UK national exhibition purely for monochrome prints - have published the 2012 entry forms ...

Re: c41/e6 processing
That's just what I don't like about the Tetenal instructions! The information is sometimes contradictory and is spread all over the place - online and in the instruction book that comes with the kit. And then they provide slightly different instructions for those using a Jobo processor.

The Tetenal E6 kit I use specifically says that it is not required.

Re: Books on developing negs
I have The Negative (and The Camera and The Print, together with the book on Polaroid photography) by Ansel Adams and I highly recommend it. Another that I've found of use, if a little harder to read, is The New Zone System Manual by Minor White, Richard Zakia and Peter Lorenz. Neither of these book...

Re: Black tape for Fidelity dark slides
I wonder what the Frost tape is impregnated with?
"Use old fashioned insulating tape for the final touch. The black impregnated cloth tape gives that original finish. Bright plastic ends spoil the effect.
25mm wide by 3 metres long."

Black tape for Fidelity dark slides
Where can one get hold of a suitable, very sticky, single-sided black cloth tape to attach the flaps back onto a Fidelity double dark slide? It appears to be about 1 cm in width. I've resealed using the original tape, but I'd like to be able to remove all the residue and seal it down properly with s...

Re: Cutting down 5"x4" film?
Rather than using cardboard, which will bend and leave dust over time, why not try a heavy gauge of plasticard? Sand the edges with fine grade sandpaper to help prevent scratches. An alternative would be thin metal sheet, which would allow the use of a very sharp knife to cut the film to size.

Re: 'Mod 54' film holder for Paterson tank - Any experiences
I have a MOD 54 and have used it a few times for black and white work. I've ended up with scratched negatives, but this has been my fault as I've put them in the wrong way round and they've rubbed the emulsion off against the "fingers". I've also found it fiddly to load with the negatives going into...

Re: Recomendation for a 90mm lens
John Koehrer on LargeFormatPhotography has one for sale at $210 (around £135), though you'd still need to source a suitable lens board, and pay the Customs charges and "handling" fees.

WTB: Linhof/Wista/Tachihara Copal 1 lens board
I'm hoping that someone may have a Linhof/Wista lens panel, suitable for a Copal 1 shutter, but with a centre hole. This would enable me to attach a Fujinon-W f5.6 180mm lens to a 4X5 Tachihara. Off-set lens panels cause the lens controls to foul the lens panel retainers.

Re: Fuzzy focusing
I'll have to see what I can find amongst my old motorcycle kit, as I may still have some of the, so-called, anti-fog potions lying around. The Paramo, so far, is also the best dark cloth that I've tried. I had a thin piece of black cloth that flapped around and didn't attach to the camera, then a Ca...

Re: Fuzzy focusing
It's probably because it's made out of water resistant, breathable fabric, which is fine for clothing as it keeps the rain out and keeps you at a comfortable temperature and humidity, but isn't so good for allowing the dispersal of moisture condensing on cold glass. And even after several hours tram...
