I've just received a new GG from Brilliant Ground Glass. Looks very good indeed, MUCH finer grain than my standard Shen Hao GG.
He sells on ebay if anyone is interested.

Nat have you looked at the Tamrac bags at all?
I use the Expedition 7 which is good for field can and 4 lenses (I only have 2 but I'm sure you could fit more in there). The next size up will probably be big enough for all your kit.

What are the best filters in places like Westonbirt? Do you really need to use filters?

Is anyone here using a Feisol tripod?
I'm seriously thinking of getting the CT-3471 to replace my Gitzo 1531 which really isnt man enough for my Shen Hao.

Lyme Regis area?

A friend of mine does alot of bird and wildlife photography and has asked me if I want to head to Lyme Regis for a day. The plan being that I would drive and drop him off so he can do his birding thing and I could head off to shoot some LF. I've been to Lyme Regis and Chesil Beach years ago and I re...

Charles I think its a great idea. It seems pretty quiet on this board which I think is a real shame. Coming from someone who is new to LF and even to using film, its nice to see other UK LF users out there and know your not alone (I've never seen any LF users in the field before!). I'II have a think...

I'm looking for a 4x5 enlarger without spending a fortune and preferably one that I can collect within the SW.
If anyone has got one or knows anyone who wants to sell please let me know.

Hello from Plymouth

Hi all I'm 34 and live just across the river from Plymouth where I've been using digital for the last 9 years (this is my old website www.mikemeal.com ). Even though I was made a bit of money from photography the enjoyment was lost. 6 months ago I turned my back on Photoshop, RAW converters and the ...
