There's a place in western Turkey I drove past in a bus which just cried out to be photographed, unfortunately I was unable to stop, and it was the wrong time of day anyway. It was on a trip between Marmaris and Ephesus, and the guide told me the name of the place was "Gokbel". There's nothing there...

Sounds like a great idea for a project, and I'd certainly be interested in participating, work permitting of course. I'm a little surprised by Charles' comments RE: Outdoor Photography. Almost every issue of OP seems to have some photos published that came from a large format camera, and as a result...

It's a commodity item. Robert White et al don't have stock anymore as far as I know. When you can't get it anymore, that makes it worth more. Pretty standard with everything, just the same old supply/demand thing. I have 150 sheets in the freezer, and they're staying there, bought mine when the buyi...

I have not used Kami or others but I believe they leave a residue? The Lumina evaporates when left to dry in around 30 mins, leaving the film dry and clean The Kami doesn't leave any residue as far as I could tell, all the pro scanning studios swear by it, so it's good enough for me. I think it's p...

Re: Epson 4990Scanner
I'm just about to put my 4990 on ebay. Have you got the V750 now?. I have the Epson FMA for the V750, but haven't used it yet. I don't have a V750 yet, no. How long did your FMA take to arrive from Epson after registering for it? I was going to order some Lumina fluid from ScanScience, as I heard t...

Cambridgeshire is very nice, Cambridge itself is very pretty, lots of architecture in the city with the old colleges and churches etc. Also you have the river Cam ( and punts ) as a subject, and the Bridge of Sighs, the Mathmatician's Bridge(?) too. Some cracking pubs around for a bit of grub as wel...
