Being serious, I think something functional would be best, maybe say something as simple as a keyring, with the logo on one side, and maybe a bellows extension table on the other side. Maybe even an actual lens spanner, with the group's initials in the middle. I just think people might support it mo...

Most manufacturers' drivers do something along those lines, afaik.....Have a look at Qimage, which is a cheap printing/SW rip solution. THere is a lot of information on this particular thing on their website. Qimage is an application written by Mike Chaney, he's a good guy and I've had many an inte...

Well, it's a bit flat.... but I can certainly scout out some locations here in Norfolk for you, being a born-n-bred carrot cruncher...

Suffolk isn't far either, I'm sure I could find some interesting places for you should you decide to head over this way.

I'm not really the sweatshirt kinda guy tbh. :?

I like the idea though, perhaps a nice little lapel badge or something? Or how about an embroidered patch to attach to your dark-cloth?

Be nice to make something functional as well, a mouse-mat with Joanna's reciprocity tables on or something? :D

I have a few other tidbits of information to add, some of which may contradict yours Joanna, sorry! The Epson drivers ( at least 2100/2200, 4000, 4800 etc ) internally work at 360ppi at all resolutions, or 720ppi if printing at 2880dpi. I print at 1440dpi ( very little noticeable difference f...

Do you find the lab give you grief about putting the trannies in the same envelope from which they came? I can see them doing it, but begrudgingly at best  I've never tried quickload to be honest, the 50% price hike always made me wince. That said, I've not found a way to correlate my dark-sli...

I have a Sekonic L608 and I think it's great, but I have no real basis for comparison, as it's the only one I've ever owned  I switch it to EV mode and take readings of shadow and highlight to work out the exposure latitude in stops, and work out how far back I have to drag the highlights with...

Lovely tones on this, and I think the tint works nicely too.

My only criticism is that there's very little to differentiate the foreground bale from it's background. Having the shadow of the bale behind itself to give separation would have helped there, kind of a shadow frame.

I appreciate the benefits of developing yourself, I have Ansel's "Negative" book, you've all convinced me it's the best way to go, and to be honest, it's exactly the sort of thing that I'd really enjoy doing, and something that I'd get really into , working out variations and researching every littl...

So, if I'm reading this right, sending the film off to be processed isn't as easy as marking it "N+1", as you need to define what "1 stop" is, as it will vary from film to film, developer to developer, and is quite subjective. To some extent I'll be at the mercy of the processor and their expertise,...

Well on the plus side, input profiling ( scanners, digital cameras ), unlike output profiling ( printers, monitors ), can be done entirely remotely and electronically ( assuming you have your own target ). You scan the target, email or upload the image, and can be emailed back with the profile.

Ok, the zone thing makes sense, and is not that disimilar to my usual methods when working out exposure for transparency ( aside from the development malarkey ), so I'll go with the zone system for exposure methods, I'm sold on that. However , if I start doing this development thing, I'll never stop...

Technically it shouldn't make any difference. Profiling is measuring the scanner's response, not the film's response, a good profile should work regardless of what you subsequently scan with it. Scanning a target on Velvia and on Provia should in theory produce exactly the same profile ( there may ...

It's not so much the digital stage I'm concerned with, I'm pretty happy with the one I created (I also used several layers combining curves, constrast masks etc to achieve a better image), and I'm content enough to sit and diddle with the scans for ages, but the offer is appreciated. :) It's the phy...
