Photo.net are trying to stop people using images hosted on their website from other sites. If you click the link on a page here you get a 403 'Not Authorised' error - but if you copy the link and paste it in to your browser you get to see the image. Photonet are obviously checking the HTTP-REFERER h...

The problem doesn't lie here - it's an issue at photo.net. A quick network capture shows that when referred by the BB here photo.net is issuing an HTML document in an attempt to redirect your browser to http://hosting.photo.net/photodb/image-display?photo_id=4739118&size=lg For anyone who's interest...

Hilbre Island
Hilbre island is a small tidal island in the Dee Estuary. You can only cross the sands to the island when the tides permit - but in the summer if you pick the days when the tides are right you can get over there for an evening's photography and capture sunset there. It takes about an hour to walk ov...

You can always give the 'QuickDisc' a go.
It's a circular target you place on the subject, and a ruler you place on the GG, measure across the target and read off your compensation.
Just download the PDF, print, laminate, cut out!

"Rolling my own" is very tempting - how long from getting the processing stuff out of the box to putting it away does it take you, Gari? I spend little enough time as it is with my head under the darkcloth - I'm very conscious that the time taken to process my own would be a prohibiting factor in me...

E6 Processing
Hello all, and greetings from the darkest depths of The Wirral Peninsula. I'm wondering where people get their E6 processed? I used to use a lab in Birkenhead until they upped their prices to £4 a sheet, and since then have used Peak. However I'm never really happy sending through the post, and gett...
