As Dave P pointed out, when Audi knocks out one red car after the other, they're all the same red. They're not. Your brain and eyes just make you think they are. My father used to design spectrophotometers, scientific instruments used for the precise measurement of colour. There's a lot more to thi...

Wavelength isn't the issue - it the intensity response. The sensor is not linear in its response to light, and the response it does have is subject to any number of tolerances.

My understanding anyway ;)

AFAIK, Fuji have officially stopped making the Quickload holder so unless someone has a spare one hidden away somewhere, repair might be the only option. That's actually incorrect - I've checked with Fuji UK and Robert White. Fuji have discontinued the Mk. I holder (actually happened some time ago)...

Hi Stu, This happens if you put the film in the holder the wrong way round, i.e. with the lens side facing the back of the camera. I was convinced I had a bad batch of film / knackered holder at one point because every other sheet I put in came right out - but I now reckon that it was just a wetware...

Hi Keith,

If you can get a lens panel that will accept a Copal 0 sized shutter, then this lens will fit that panel. I know absolutely nothing about MPP panels however.

Did anyone else have similar doubts when using a Quickload or Readyload holder for the first time? :?:  I purposefully sacrificed a sheet of film when I first started using Quickloads. Put the sheet in the holder when not in the camera and played untill I was sure I was hapy with the way it h...

When I shot MF I used Cokin P-Series; and I never really felt that they were truly neutral.

Looking at the range of filters Cokin offer from the link you sent, I think you'll find that Lee offer a far greater range of densities and transitions, and Lee will dip custom grads for you if you wish.

Hi Neil,

Welcome to the group, and to the ever increasing North West cluster!

There are many of us in the North West, Joanna and Helen up in Southport, Marc in Manchester, Tom, George and myself on the Wirral (Apologies to anyone I missed!)

Tim.
