Re: Fuji Velvia 50 5x4 @ Robert Whites
I'd also ordered 2 boxes of full price film last week which was out of stock and no delivery expected until late February, they asked me today if I'd like to change that order for the short-dated film instead so I said yes please, hopefully they wouldn't have done that if they weren't sure that the...

That makes 2 of us and I ordered at 23:16 last night! What I find amusing is the expected delivery date of 3-5 days for shorted dated film lol

Re: Fuji Velvia 50 5x4 @ Robert Whites
Just as a matter of interest do people recommend storage in the fridge or the freezer (for longer-term storage)? From what I've seen and read most people seem to store in the fridge and freezer. I guess freezer storage for film that you're not going to use any time soon and fridge storage for film ...

Re: Time to stock up on Portra
If only, you're looking at approx. £35 a box of 25 in the UK, haven't checked Europe yet, where as at Badger it's £18.38.Charles Twist wrote:Isn't Ilford cheaper in the UK or Europe?

Re: Time to stock up on Portra
I'm also happy to share a shipment from badger graphic. I used them last for about 4 boxes of 5x4 and saved about £50 after delivery and import duty.
I'm after a couple of boxes of Portra 160 and a couple of boxes of Ilford Delta 100.

Re: Time to stock up on Portra
It wasn't not so long ago. I just happen to be price checking yesterday, AG Photographic were the most expensive at £71.88, with Robert White at £57.60 and then Fuji at £49.43.

Re: Waste disposal
I have no answers either but it's something I'm also interested in. I currently only do E6 processing but I'm looking at expanding it to B&W and maybe C41 this year, so a nice clean safe way to dispose of the chemicals would be great.
