Have you tried ffordes in Scotland near Beauly.
They deal in large format, new and used, I beleive.
They have a website. Cannot remember it but should come up in google.
Hope you are well.

The trouble with eternity is it drags near the end.

Re: French MF/LF galerie-photo conf., Perpignan Oct 15-17, 2
I still intend to go but may cross from Poole to Cherbourg as per the last time we visited France. Its a much longer crossing (4,5 hours) and my wife was not to keen on it so suggested Dover. However Dover is several hours drive from Salisbury so I may prevail and use Poole. However thanks for the r...

I think it mught be more fun seeing you try to align 3 projectors!!
I checked with my sat.nav. and Perpignon is over a 1200 mile journey going via Dover so I must leave several days in advance of the start date and take a leisurley run down.
All the best

I will do my best to be there and start organising ferry, hotel etc. later this year.
I have a self published book entitled "Beyond the Obvious" on the blurb website and will bring a copy (or two).
Hope you and your family are well.
Best wishes

Scanner for 5 x 4 negatives
I recently had to pay £53 for a 70Mg scan of a 5 x 4 colour negative on a drum scanner. This on top of having to train into London-more expense-as no-one around Salisbury could offer such a service. I would like to investigate obtaining a decent flatbed (drum I believe would be seriously expensive) ...

Meet for coffee/chat/whatever
Since moving to Salisbury 3 years ago I find that there are only camera clubs in the area.
I would welcome meeting up with any UKLFormatters for coffee/chat/print critique/whatever.
Anyone in the general area interested.
Could meet at my place or whereever to suit.

Re: Recommend me a printing company.....but not Peak
I use BPD Photech in Warrington also.
Never had a problem.
I send then 5 x 4 colour negs. for development and printing. They now scan negs. and print from those files. Also send a CD with scanned files on.
I understand that both Joe Cornish and Charlie Waite use them.

I would appreciate any comments on the merits of the 75mm Grandagon N against the 80mm Super Symmer XL as I am contemplating purchasing one or the other and there is little difference in price but a lot in weight.

Black Jacket focussing cloth
I recently learnt about the above item and saw one in Bourges at the French LF conference but did not have time to physically try it on my Ebony 45SU. Does anyone have experience of this item? I would welcome any comments before purchasing one. It is a focussing cloth with sleeves for the arms rathe...

Sorry but I must pull out. There is just too much to do here in completing kitchen before Xmas plus walls to make good after chimney breast removal, wardrobes to build etc. Apologies.
