I have a Hoya 1A skylight-filter on my 240mm Nikkor-W lens which I can not unscrew as I don`t have a large enough filter wrench. Any advice?

Re: WTB Jobo CPP-2 Processor
Well, it definitely takes the 2500 drums (with cog drive) ; I'm not sure about the 2800 series but definitely not the Expert drums. I stand corrected, therefore it should also take a 2800 series print drum with cog-drive. I use a 2800 series drum for processing two 8x10 film sheets at a time. They`...

Re: WTB Jobo CPP-2 Processor
I don`t think that the ATL 1500 will take the Expert-Drums or the 2500/2800 series of tanks and print-drums.Joanna Carter wrote:Hi Paul, How about an ATL1500 for around £400 ? I know a man who may have such available.
I have the CPA2+lift which has the same chassis as the CPP2/ATL-1, but without the extras.

Re: [OTT?] Old computers
Shame. I saw an 'Imagine' the other week on William Eggleston, and he apparently used dye sublimation to print his colour photos. Even on the TV screen the quality looked impressive. I think Ctein might be the last person around to offer the dye-transfer process for clients. http://en.wikipedia.org...

Re: Where to reverse-process B&W in Ireland/UK
Hi all, I won't be able to do the process myself until I return to the college darkroom in September. Thanks for your time and your help :) Diarmuid 8) :D As long as you have a suitable film processing tank and a light-proof film changing bag, you probably wont need to use the college darkroom. Re: Shen Hao
Keith I also have the TZ45IIA, which I've been very happy with. If you haven't seen any of the Shen Hao cameras, I don't live far from you (Wembury), I'd be happy to meet up if you'd like to take a look - whilst it's only the 5x4, I'm guessing that the build standard is similar across the range. What are your opinions on this Camera brand. They look to be well made and with good specifications. I particularly like the 8x10 which at just under 10LB should be fairly comfortable to carry.

Re: Light Meter options
I have read as much as I can find in the archive regarding Spot Meters and wondered what my options are as so many are no longer manufactured. I currently have a MinoltaIVF with a 5 degree attachment which it seems is not a narrow enough angle of measurement. I have found a Pentax Spot meter for sa...

Given up trying to find a 10x8. Might be a bit big to handle anyway, so am thinking of 5x7. Anyone have a really good condition one for sale - Gandolfi original or similar? Thanks. Re: Which Lee Yellow filter for B&W?
Having been informed ( some time ago ) on here that my Red filter was probably the wrong thing for B&W landscapes, I was recommended to get a Yellow one. I never got around to ordering it, but I'm looking now, with the workshop in mind, but I don't know which one I should get, having little experie...
