Emulsions for Architectural Work
Hi guys I've got some commissions coming up that will require me to nail the perspective and verticals, so will be using the Ebony for it. Can't be doing with hiring a digital back for the day, so will be using film. I'm a long time Provia and Velvia user, but wondered if anyone had any preferences ...

I use Keynote too - I've had no problems with it and it seems to keep up admirably with the projector when showing colours.

Re: which film processor?
Well I have the CPA2 and it is huge! The water bath is a different design to the CPE2, in that the water to warm the tank flows in to a trough on top, and then overflows through an outlet into a much larger trough underneath which keeps the bottles at the correct temperature. The design strikes me a...

Re: Jobo 120 reel in 2521 tank
Hi Jenny
Yes, that would be great actually - I've just realised that the reel I have is from a Patterson tank, and although it fits in the tank, it's diameter is much smaller....
Any chance I could borrow it for the day tomorrow (Sunday)?

Jobo 120 reel in 2521 tank
I've got a few rolls of 120 film from a recent trip to develop and although the 120 reel will fit perfectly in the 2521 tank, I assume that it will need a lot more chemicals as the usual amount of chemicals won't be deep enough to reach the film.
Anyone got any experience of this?

Re: which film processor?
Tim actually has a CPE2 , but the process for a CPA2 or a CPP2 is the same, the latter two are just bigger and have more spaces for water bottles. I'd go for one of those, don't bother with the ATL as they're far too expensive, especially since you are used to spending your whole time with the film ...

Oh, and the A82 is completely clear.
Just make sure you fill up your washer bottle with undiluted screen wash, mines been frozen solid for a week.

Yes, no problem. I went down there, it was all compacted snow, but it won't have gotten slushy.
Stay clear of Glen Orchy though.

Re: Last orders for Velvia 50 QL in UK
I wonder if anyone would be willing to start a petition or some kind of letter to Fuji that we could all sign up to to protest this, so that they could see the kind of demand that there would be for this in the UK? There would be some pretty hefty photographers on there too. There surely must be eno...

Re: Hello from Hertfordshire
Welcome to the Forum! If you're on the lookout for a camera then make sure you consider Mike Walker's offerings! They are amazing cameras and well-priced! That's exactly what I said. There are however often good options on eBay for Linhof TK's, or Chamonix. I would avoid Ebony if you are trying to ...

Re: Have you purchased a high end print
Well Tim, you remember that hill in Yorkshire that I don't really like? I've now got a chugging huge picture of it! Rasberry topping isn't my favourite and this image is probably not one I would choose myself, but having such a quality product and it being the only one in the world makes it very spe...
