FS: Horseman 6x12 roll back for 5x4

Hi everyone I've just realised that I've got a 6x12 back for 5x4 that I've barely ever used (probably put about 5 rolls through it) and so it's up for grabs. It's in fantastic nick, with only a small dent on the handle for the dark slide, which doesn't affect performance at all. It performs great an...

Re: Walker cameras

I saw the new camera(s) and spoke to Mike about them at length - they're 5x4 pinhole cameras with interchangeable fronts to change focal length. There are three focal lengths, but I cant for the life of me remember what they are. They're going to come in at just over £100 i think, made of the same A...

Re: Buying a drum scanner

Ed, Both Tim Parkin and I have one of these: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DRUM-SCANNER-CROSFIELD-SELSIS-240-MAC-G4-WHOLE-KIT-/180585827471?pt=UK_Scanners&hash=item2a0bc10c8f#ht_1141wt_1141 Didn't sell, so if you get in quick it might still be available. It's absolutely brilliant, not that difficult to use,...

Re: Broken Epson V700?

Fixed!!!

Great stuff - I'm back in action again! Thank you both.

Joanna, I am holding the tranparency against the glass because it's more in focus that when it's in the holder, although having looked, I'm using the holder in it's highest setting. Will try the lower setting to see if it helps.

Re: Broken Epson V700?

Hmm - that's perfectly possible, as I've tried to not use holders and I was using card masks to hold the film against the glass. I would bet that they were covering that area.

Had you seen this before?

I shall check tomorrow when I go back to the studio.

Thanks!!

Broken Epson V700?

Hi there I've been scanning a load of transparencies from my recent trip to Norway and have hit upon a problem this afternoon. When I scan a transparency in either Vuescan, Epson Scan or Silverfast, all I get is a white screen, with occasional red flashes on. It's the same in preview as it is in ful...

Re: New to LF photography ~ any help appreciated!

Hi Jodie Really pleased to see you on here - I've kept an eye on what you've been up to over the last 18 months and I'm really pleased that I'm not the only digital reliant pro that appreciates large old-fashioned film cameras! Really like your work too, by the way. I'm friends with Tamara Kuzminski...

WTB Shen Hao 6x17 roll film back

Hi everyone

I know I can get on new, but if anyone was thinking of getting rid of a Shen Hao roll film back for 4x5 I'd be very interested.

Here's hoping

Norway!

So, it turns out that I'm off to Norway for a couple of weeks in October. I'm driving there and back and will have two interrupted weeks for landscape in Norway with no restrictions really (except perhaps for how bloomin huge Norway is!). Anyone got any recommendations for where to visit? I'll be st...

Re: The Return of Quickload

Well - Fuji seems to be developing a reputation for this. But... hurray!! My Gnass Gear case isn't redundant after all.. Tim The Gnass gear holder is actually quite good at holding DDS - although mine is a bit bigger than yours... This will be good news in my book, although I wish they'd make their...
