It occurred to me just now that a multi-lens gem camera is automatically a stereo-camera. If you can find a set of the simultaneously produced gem images, it shouldn't be too difficult to find stereo pairs for 3-d images... Just to be contrary, some late 19th century stereograms - probably most were...

Areas I'd like to see - and which I am discussing on other fora - might involve developer recipes and processes (I'm strictly a monochrome chap) and perhaps also multiple...

I'm still trying to find a box for those brass lenses, Andrew... I may have to get creative!

Ah, gotcha.

Since I wrote earlier, I've had a polite note from the seller: he bought the lens with no retainer, but has some which he will inspect to see if any is the right size.

Let's see what happens.

Thanks Paul - Griturn are just up the road from me, and will be getting a call on Monday. Hmm, I had a recent conversation with them about 3/8 tripod mounts, which they couldn't help with.

I ain't complaining about the price on that lens, Andrew - though the seller has not yet responded to a polite enquiry seeking the mounting ring. I can't find anything on Mr CAD or Teamwork, but it looks like S K Grimes can supply for twenty bucks - I'll drop them a line. Or I found this one on ebay...
