As far as I know Shen hao's have never come with cover glass since they don't come with a fresnel, so sounds like someone had just reversed the glass on yours. Maybe they liked slightly out of focus images.

I can't think of the shot you mean, but the cover of First Light with that round almost canonball-like rock is just a bit further round from the school and that honeycombed rock, facing directly out towards garbh bheinn on the cuillin - its a very well known and popular spot.

I think the cameras in questions are full 6x17 field cameras, not fixed bodies, so they do have swing etc.

Ebony's are over-priced. The RSW45 has limited movements in order to reduce its weight - it's LF for hiking. It's also a non-folder, which may be a problem for Nomad. If you can find one on budget (safer if you can run to ~£700ish) second hand then an ebony rsw45 is ideal for your requirements.

Colours on that look as you'd expect given the likely lighting conditions - no problems there, unless you fancy it warmer as a matter of taste.
