Personally I have the Shen Hao; it's crude but effective. I don't carry it with me all that often but on the occasions I have used it I've had no issues with it. The flexibility of having 6x9, 6x7 and 6x6 masks is great, and you can switch between formats mid-roll, but it can be confusing as to wher...

André at Inversnaid rus B&W printing courses; here are last year's details. Might be worth dropping a line and seeing if they've published the calendar for 2008 yet.

Money no object, which would be your choice? Either the Nikkor-SW 90/4.5 or the Rodenstock Grandagon-N 90/4.5; the Grandagon is reputed to be slightly sharper, not that the Nikkor is a slacker in the sharpness department. The Grandagon-N is a monster of a lens though, a 90mm lens in a Copal 1 toppi...

Hi Chris, For me the benefit of Quickload is purely convenience. I can simply pick a box of film out of my fridge, put it in my pack and go. If I were shooting sheet film I'd have to contend with loading / unloading the dark slides. Each Quickload is a sheet of film held in a light-tight cardboard e...
Trees
All this talk of trees reminded me of the Forestry Commision 'Tree Colour Map', it might be useful for some of you.

Keith, I've recently been looking at the Kata 502 , I'm not quite sure that it meets my needs, but you may well have some luck with it. It's definately lighter than the equivalently sized LowePro (the Pro-Trekker) and due to the way it's constructed it may have more storage (depending on the gear yo...

Ah - so you don't want to commit fraud yourself, you want someone else to commit it on your behalf?vanman wrote:Oh Tim! You give the vendor the information and it's up to them.

EC shipments work in a different way; VAT is collected in the goods' country of origin, supplied at the VAT rate of the originating country. There should be no customs inspections / fees for intra-EU shipments. I suppose it may be theoretically plausible that HMRC could extract their pound of flesh ...
