I'll second that Barry. Thanks Steve - good to meet everyone on Sunday, albeit briefly.

C41 processing in Bristol/Gloucestershire?
Has anyone had 5x4 colour neg processed in the Bristol/Gloucestershire area?
I'm shooting some next week and really need to get it turned round quicker than the usual Peak or Transpacolor mail order.

Hi Keith
I've used mine without a centre grad filter with no problems - there's a picture taken with it in the most recent project section on this forum

For sale - Benbo tripod
Not really my cup of tea, so I'm selling it for £60 (what I paid for it) Not sure what model it is, but the overall length of it folded up is 33 inches, and fully extended approx 6 foot tall. It has a Kennet pan and tilt head which would be OK for 35mm and medium format, but not man enough for 5x4, ...

For sale or swap, MPP Mk8 camera
I've managed to accumulate two Mk8s, so one needs a good new home. It's by no means mint condition, but perfectly usable. I can email photos to anyone interested - drop me a private message. It has a new ground glass as the old one was scratched. Would also consider swap/ part exchange for a Crown G...

Keith I bought a Schneider Super Angulon 90mm F8 for a reasonable price from Ebay - it is very sharp and has coverage that allows for some movements. It is mounted in a conical lens board on my MPP mk8. Let me know if you want to sell the 90mm f6.8 - I fancy one for handheld stuff on the MPP as it i...

Re-attaching leatherette body covering
I need to stick some areas of leatherette back on the (metal) body of my MPP Mk8 and wondered if anyone has suggestions of particular glues to use or avoid?

Hi I use a really stable Manfrotto 028 tripod with 029 head with my MPP, BUT its very heavy and I wouldn't want to carry it very far. I bought the whole lot second hand for less than £100. When it's not being used for large format I swap the head for a Manfrotto 501 and its great for video work! Matt

Anybody using Tri-X 5x4?
It was always my favourite 35mm black and white film, but I haven't been able to track down any Tri-X 5x4 sheet film, and I'm wondering whether its available in the UK?

Hi Gari I've shot Pro-S 5x4, and the same holds true for this as does most colour neg films - overexposure is always preferable to underexposure. I've just scanned some Fuji Superia colour neg 120 film, shot as 6x9 on a roll film back on my MPP, and whilst the slightly thin negs were acceptable, the...
