We had a meet up of the WFC on Saturday and a dozen of us went up into mid Wales to the Dinas RSPB Reserve and reservoir. Maybe something like "Unusual planes of focus". I think that would be highly appropriate. Although small apertures and 'positive' tilts have always been foremost in LF landscapes and architecture, offset planes of focus and wide aps are intriguing in portrait and still life/product work. I'm a Caterpillar man myself ... but the DM shot does shine. It was an excellent project starter, I think, and one way to gather views and viewpoints together. No doubt there are limits to the hosting of images on this site, but even at this size they look good together. Perhaps we need another 'sho...

Tom, I first ordered the two screens last August - a 5x7 and a 4x5. I've been in touch with Dave ever since. I think he's getting as frustrated at the non-arrivals as I am.

That's a nice looking piece of machinery. You might want to try this place for film - it certainly worked out economically for 5x7.
