Living 3 miles from the place, count me in! I recommend Westonbirt and will take a look at the autumn colours in the next week and post here.

I spoke to them about LF use for the Cotswolds visit last year, and they were happy to have big cameras on site.

The tea room is good but expensive!

Went to see the Oxford exhibition last Friday; some of the prints really sing - well worth the visit to see just what can be achieved by a master.

BTW - if visiting its worth using the park and ride - the busses stop about 100 yards from the exhibition.

Bit far away from me, but I can recommend his biography - a talented and dedicated man. The background on the development of photography, environmentalism and the people involved is fascinating.

A very merry Christmas and a prosperous and productive New Year to everyone.

May the weather be kind, all your exposures be correct and a masterpiece appear with every shot (well we can try, can't we?).

Cornwall sounds good to me, but North Wales would do just as well.

Beware - some cameras will not take the 6.8 Super Angulon (e.g. MPP) because of the rear element diameter.

Ah, its started!

I knew this would happen cos I was a bit cavalier about the groups (you try it!). Never mind, I shall just go and sulk in a corner.

S** the lot of you.

But seriously, let me know where you would rather be and I'll edit the post.

Who We Are

Hi All, Thought this might be of interest. It was aobvious that there were local communities forming, so I thought Iwould take a look at distribution of UKLF members. Bit arbitrary in grouping but interesting.... Australia Adelaide,South Australia 1 Brisbane Australia 1 Melbourne Australia 1 NSW Aus...

For shutters in the UK try Black on White in Bristol; John Quantick did a first class job for me on a 00 shutter - from a wreck to good as new. Can take some time though as parts can be rare for older shutters.

Ah well, initiation completed and workshop over. The six of us did not get as much shooting done as we would have liked, but the company and beer were very good. Thanks to Dave, Barry, Steve, Sandeha and Matt - good to meet you all. Steve PS - I finally discovered that the rite involves a Tesco All ...

Well that's the plan, although given the ageing parent problems I've had over the past few weeks there are three possible outcomes: 1. I'll get out and take photos I can be proud of. 2. I will be found asleep under a dark cloth somewhere. 3. I will be found asleep in a tea room. I will make sure I w...
