It'll be interesting to see the replies but it does seem an odd choice to go after, unless you think Ilford would be more open to doing something.

They're big, but if you're using filters anyway...
...they're only marginally wider than a 4x5 lens board.

Re: WTB: 90mm Lens Cap
Guess you've already considered it but Lee do push on caps for their filter adapter rings. "Lens Caps (Pk of 3) Set of 3 white translucent clip on lens caps that protect your lens when a Lee ring is fitted. Made from white polypropylene, they can be written on to identify lenses whilst in the camera...

Re: New LF user from London
Think you just have to keep an eye out. I suspect it's just that the 6x7 backs are now the least popular and tend to hang around more. It was only couple of weeks before you asked that a few 6x9 and 6x12 backs came up on the dealer lists and ebay -- maybe I was super lucky in that it happened to be ...

Re: New LF user from London
Wista or Horseman (seen them rebranded as Arca) seem good.
Not sure about Wista, but Horseman have two variants -- you need a 451 (not model 1 -- i.e. need the 45 prefix) for 6x9, 452 (not model 2) for 6x7, or 612 for 6x12.
Models 45/3 and 45/4 are for 220 film, 6x9 and 6x7 resp.

Re: Buying colour film
For price...
I've not used them myself but a lot of people on other boards get film from http://www.7dayshop.com
They're in Guernsey so delivery will likely take longer and stock levels seem to vary quite a bit.
OTH, it's good to support the specialist shops even if things do cost a bit more.
