Hi Gari,
Is this the only view point you have taken? Would love to see some more if you got them.

Hi Michel, It would be difficult if you have not got spare boxes. Some nice forum contributors here might have a few spares empty boxes. I have got plenty of empty boxes but too far for me to send them to you. If you are near a pro lab, you could bring in the film holders and ask them to unload the ...

Hi Michel, When I sent my films away for processing, whether E6 or BW, I sent them in the film box that the film came in. Obviously don't mixed transparencies and BW together in one box. The film boxes are light tight and just taped around it to secure the box before sealing it in a bubble envelope....

Hi Phil, Thanks for that. I have a negative which I have not developed yet because of high contrast in the scenery and the developer that you are using would be what I am looking for. I have developed a negative taken at the same place and it is unusable. Highlights all blocked up. Do you made the d...

Thanks Paul.

I think the 8x10 will the route to go and thanks for the advice not to wear it . It's bad enough people looking at you going under the hood.

All the prints are up and looks good. Tonight is the opening night and there will be a judge judging on the different categories. Will update later.

P.S. Bought an oil painting from a budding artist (it was priced below the material cost, in my opinion).

Cheers

Both are beauty.

2.5 minutes exposure and you still get some details in the highlight. I am not familiar with pyrocat. Is that very diluted concentration? How long did you develop your negative in that soup?

Hi Gari,
I like this one. I noticed that you are using Kodak 100SW. Do you find this film has a magenta cast? I am using the 100vs and this sometime has a magenta cast which is quite noticeable.

Black Jacket

Hi,
I am thinking of getting one but not sure which one to get. I have a 8x10 and as fund is limited I am tempted to just get the 8x10 blackjacket and use this on the 4x5 too. Maybe I could secure it with a tie string when using it on 4x5. Do you think it will work?

Thanks Paul. There are no pro labs around here but I have been sending my 4x5 transparencies to get them scan. There is a shop that does do decent giclee prints and apparently I was told that the inks will last for more than 70 years under normal display conditions. We'll see how it go. I may not se...

Thanks Buddy.

All prints will have to be on sale and I really dont want to part with the Autumnal Leaves that I had taken in Bodmin Moor and St. Michael Mount. Both which you have seen.

G'day from Down Under

G'day Mates, I had recently moved to Coffs Harbour, NSW, Australia. I was working at Wakefield, West Yorkshire, for 3 years as a pharmacist. I managed to join the 2nd LF workshop at Northumberland with Andrew aka Apple. Thanks to all organisers for a great weekend and I had learned a lot from it (sh...

Photographic Exhibition - I won, I won !!!!

Hello All, A selection of my LF prints have been accepted for an exhibition this coming Friday. The exhibition is over the weekend and it would be exhibited among other paint artists, sculpters etc. The title of this exhibition is "Salute to the Arts". Unfortunely, the exhibition is going to be held...

Hi Marc,
I am using Minolta Spot meter F and it has those buttons that you had mentioned. I use them regularly to get my exposures. I think you are right about being more forgiving for slight blown out highlights then blocked up shadows. Cheers.
